From buildings to energy and water infrastructure, D.I.D covers the entire construction chain in Mauritania, with dedicated teams and an equipment fleet for each line of business.
Building & Public Works
Building and public works are D.I.D's historic core business. The company designs and delivers structures of every kind across the entire Mauritanian territory: hospitals and medical technical facilities, institutional headquarters, housing programmes, markets and public facilities, roads and engineering structures.
Energy
D.I.D delivers complete energy infrastructure: thermal and hybrid fuel-solar power plants, transformer substations, and overhead and underground EHV, HV and MV lines. Notably, the company has delivered two turnkey hybrid power plants totalling 7 MW in Néma and Adel Bagrou, securing the power supply for the east of the country.
Drinking water supply
Access to drinking water is a vital challenge in Mauritania. D.I.D delivers complete drinking water supply networks — boreholes, pumping stations, pipelines, water towers and treatment plants. For the National Refugee Agency, the company delivered 4 networks totalling 62 km of pipelines and four 50 m³ water towers.
Import-Export
To guarantee quality and meet deadlines on its work sites, D.I.D handles the procurement of equipment and materials in-house: biomedical equipment, electrical hardware, technical supplies. This import-export activity secures the supply chain of every project, from international supplier to Mauritanian site.
