Our story
D.I.D — Distribution, Ingénierie et Développement — was founded in 2004 to operate in building and public works, energy, drinking water supply and import-export.
In twenty years, the company has delivered more than 300 projects across the entire country: hospitals and health centres, institutional headquarters, housing programmes, power plants, water networks, schools and public facilities. This track record is built on a simple conviction: delivering, on schedule, works of international quality carried out by Mauritanian teams.

An experienced engineering team
Around 400 staff can be mobilised across the country: engineers in civil engineering, geotechnics, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, building services (MEP), hydraulics and surveying, supported by works supervisors and site managers with up to 35 years of experience.

A complete, self-sufficient equipment fleet
D.I.D owns outright all the equipment required for major construction sites, complemented by water tankers, low-bed trailers, generator sets, scaffolding, aerial work platforms, hoists, and aluminium, wood and metal joinery workshops.

A certified management system
D.I.D's QSE approach is certified to ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety) and ISO 14001 (environment) by the German body DQS GmbH, a member of IQNet. Every site applies the same standards, from earthworks to handover.
