Néma & Adel Bagrou Hybrid Power Plants — 7 MW

Two hybrid fuel-solar power plants with a total capacity of 7 MW, delivered turnkey in the east of the country with financing from the Arab Fund (AFESD).

D.I.D delivered two turnkey hybrid fuel-solar power plants in Néma and Adel Bagrou, in eastern Mauritania, with a total capacity of 7 MW. The project was financed by the Government of Mauritania and the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD).

These plants combine thermal generating sets with solar fields to secure the power supply of towns located far from the national grid — a flagship achievement of our Energy business, delivered from design studies through to commissioning.
