Construction of a modern fish auction hall at the Artisanal Port of Nouadhibou, serving the fisheries sector, funded by GTZ and the Government of Mauritania.
D.I.D is building the Fish Auction Hall at the Artisanal Port of Nouadhibou on behalf of EPBR, with joint funding from German development cooperation (GTZ) and the Government of Mauritania.
This modern first-sale fish facility will strengthen the value chain of artisanal fisheries, an economic pillar of Mauritania's northern capital. Completion is scheduled for late November 2026.
