The National Cardiology Centre in Nouakchott is a referral hospital built by D.I.D, financed by the Government of Mauritania and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB).
The project covers the entire hospital building and its technical packages (MEP & medical services): cardiac diagnostic suites, operating theatres, medical gases and air-handling systems. Its facade, lined with orange sun-shading fins, has made it an architectural landmark of the capital's healthcare landscape.
