Construction of a specialist oncology hospital in Nouakchott, financed by the Ithar NGO and Qatar Charity, to strengthen cancer care provision in Mauritania.
D.I.D is building the Nouakchott Oncology Hospital, a specialist facility designed to provide Mauritania with modern cancer care infrastructure. The project is financed by the Ithar NGO and Qatar Charity, with delivery scheduled for the end of February 2027.
The reinforced concrete structure is now rising rapidly. Our teams — steel fixers, formwork carpenters, electricians and plumbers — work in shifts on site, in strict compliance with our ISO 45001-certified safety standards.
